Valerie Howard, associate dean for academic affairs, was recently appointed a visiting professor at the University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine - School of Nursing where she recently taught a two-week curriculum planning and development course. 

Additionally, Howard also presented a seminar for the University's faculty entitled "Simulation: Using Standards and an Evidence Based Approach to Enhance Learning Outcomes."
