Im, Chee and PhD Student Lee Present at Global Breast Cancer Conference in Korea

​Eun-Ok Im, Wonshik Chee and PhD student Chiyoung Lee recently presented at the Global Breast Cancer Conference held in South Korea. 

Im, Chee and Lee presented: "What to Consider in a Culturally Tailored Technology-based Cancer Pain Management Program," and "Challenges in a Culturally Tailored Technology-Based Intervention for Asian American Breast Cancer Survivors." Im and Chee presented: "Technological Issue in Using Web-based Survey Systems in Asian American Cancer Research," and "An Internet Cancer Support Group and Illness Uncertainty." 

As one of the biggest breast cancer conferences in Asia, the Global Breast Cancer Conference (GBCC) has brought together people from all walks of life including medical professionals, researchers, policymakers, patients and guardians to come up with multi-scientific strategies to effectively diagnose and treat breast cancer and to promote women's health. Now, the GBCC has been preparing for the next 10 years to serve as a world-renowned hub for networking and research in breast cancer.
