The Inaugural North Carolina Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Symposium will take place Friday, April 27  from 9 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill. 

The Inaugural North Carolina Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology Symposium will bring together multidisciplinary providers and researchers from across the state who are interested in improving care for this patient population. With a focus on collaboration and education regarding the unique medical and psychosocial needs of AYAs in North Carolina, this knowledge-based symposium will feature a mix of didactic lectures, breakout sessions, and panel discussions.    

Participants will take away practical ideas to improve care for AYAs at their institution. Additionally, connections will be made that will foster future research and collaboration among North Carolina providers, researchers, and institutions.
