Instituting the Media Services Support Center
Over the past several months, the Information Technology and Marketing and Communications teams have piloted a centralized process for responding to internal media service requests. The intent of this effort was to create a one-stop source of assistance to faculty and staff needing to plan and produce a multimedia project.
Since the launch of the pilot last September, more than 128 requests for multimedia assistance have been received, and reaction to this new service has been very positive. Based upon the continued growth in demand for a wide variety of media services to support our academic and research missions as well as the operational feedback we have received, we are formally instituting this process for the DUSON community.
As many of you have discovered, using the Media Services Support Center ensures a fast and easy way to get your multimedia or video project scheduled, planned and delivered. The media services team will work with you to coordinate and manage the planning and production processes of your multimedia project to help ensure that it is delivered on time and meets your needs.
The Media Service Support Center can be found on the main Faculty and Staff webpage of the DUSON website. If you anticipate using these services on a regular basis, we encourage you to bookmark the page.
The members of the media services team appreciate the feedback and support they have received for this service over the past few months and look forward to serving the needs of the DUSON community in the future.
