Ragan Johnson, associate professor, and Marquita Lyons-Smith, of NCCU, presented at the inaugural DNPs of Color Conference on October 23. The presentation shared the LEAHP (Leading to Equitable Access to Health Professions) summer immersion program. The two highlighted the benefits of collaboration between an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and Predominantly White Institution (PWI) to increase advanced practice nursing workforce diversity.
