Johnson Earns Security+ Certification

Tina Johnson, instructional technology specialist, recently completed training and certification for the Security+ certification. A part of her IT degree program, CompTIA's Security+ certification establishes the core knowledge required for an advanced IT role. Security+ incorporates best practices in hands-on trouble-shooting to ensure security professionals have practical security problem-solving skills.

Carla Nichols, assistant director of information technology, congratulated Tina, saying "having an analyst with Security+ certification enhances our ability to provide a secure environment with her advanced knowledge in security concepts and tools."
