Join the DUSON Sustainability Initiative

DUSON is supporting Duke University's Carbon Neutrality Goal by 2024. Since Dean Marion Broome announced DUSON's new green initiative on February 14, she has received many emails with sustainability ideas and interest to join our Green Team.

Our functional groups and offices are getting certified so that DUSON can become the Duke University 100th certified workplace!

Join our mission by participating in the following:

• Commit to make a difference: Take the Duke University "Sustainability Pledge."

• Learn about how personal decisions have an impact with the Duke Carbon Calculator.

• Join the DUSON Green Team by emailing Diane Uzarski, Valerie Sabol, and Michelle Hartman if you would like to champion a specific green initiative or have green ideas. We want to hear from you!

• Create a name for our DUSON Green Initiative by emailing your entry for our sustainability effort to son.deanoffice@dm.duke.edu. The winner will receive a Eno hammock for two!

• Get certified by completing the Sustainable Duke's Green Certifications to position DUSON in achieving placement as Duke's 100th Certified Workplace! You are invited to join this mission by participating for your workspace, course, event, and lab.
