Kudos to Hyeoneui Kim for the submission of her NIH R01 Subcontract application to the University of California at San Diego for Kim’s continued work on her project entitled "iCONCUR: Informed CONsent for Clinical data and biosample Use for Research." This proposal requests funding for an 11-month period with a start date of August 1, 2017.

Abstract: Continuing work on this project will entail 1) testing the algorithms that infer sensitive data and the data use tracking function, which are currently under development, 2) evaluating the algorithms that infer sensitive data by reviewing the inference outputs, 3) conducting the evaluation of the data use tracking system before implementing to the production system, and 4) participating in the analyses and interpretation of the study results. Two research assistants with clinical and informatics background will participate in this evaluation under the supervision of Dr. Kim.
