Koch, Walton Present at D-CHIPP’s New CHATs Lecture Series

AnnMarie WaltonAmie KochA new lecture series for D-CHIPP student affiliates, faculty and staff, called D-CHIPP CHATs (Community Health Academic Talks), was created to provide student affiliates more exposure to community health topics and research conducted by D-CHIPP faculty affiliates. Amie Koch, assistant professor, recently presented a lecture on human trafficking (January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month). On Monday, February 10 at 12:30 p.m. in IPE 3267, AnnMarie Walton, assistant professor, will lecture on her research regarding pesticide protective behaviors among migrant Latino farmworkers, and antineoplastic drug exposure and healthcare workers (February is National Pesticide Safety Education Month).

The D-CHIPP CHAT name was coined by ABSN student and D-CHIPP affiliate Rose Feinberg.
