Kathryn Kreider, associate professor, collaborated with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to develop handouts educating about the importance of the flu vaccine for both nurses and patients with diabetes. In addition to consulting on the development of the handouts, she worked with the CDC to develop an FAQ sheet for nurses which helps address some of the frequent questions that patients ask about the flu vaccine.
