Lipkus Submits Subcontract Proposal on University of Georgia NIH R01 Application
Kudos to Isaac Lipkus, professor, and his entire team for the submission of their Subcontract Proposal on a University of Georgia NIH R01 application entitled "Testing Dyadic Mechanisms of Cessation in Dual-Smoker Couples." This proposal requests funding for a four-year period with a start date of Sept. 1, 2019.
Lipkus will work with the study team to devise recruitment strategies to obtain couples for the study, including exploration of recruitment venues and crafting recruitment materials. He will also help with methodological details such as concepts to assess and how to assess them and contribute to discussions as to how these constructs are related from a theoretical perspective. Additionally, Lipkus will help with devising study main paper themes and suggesting hypotheses to be tested.
