Mark Your Calendars: Health Innovation Lab Open House

You are invited to the Open House of the Health Innovation Lab on Tuesday, November 15. The Health Innovation Lab is a physical space for the Duke community to test novel innovations in a simulated clinical environment. Housed at the School of Nursing, the lab fosters radical ideas, entrepreneurship, and innovative scholarship in research, education, and clinical practice.
Open House events include the following:
- Dr. Tanvi Banerjee, assistant professor for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio will be the lecture speaker in Pearson 1009 from 1 to 2 p.m. Her lecture is entitled "Analyzing Physical and Cognitive Decline in Older Adults Using Sensing Technologies."
- Then enjoy a tour of the Health Innovation Lab in Pearson 2102 from 3 to 5 p.m. Come see exciting innovations including a holographic computer, a nursing robot and more.
