Media Panel With Gonzalez-Guarda Gets National Attention

Rosa Gonzalez-Guarda, associate professor, participated in a three-person panel for a virtual media briefing addressing the "Effects of COVID-19 on Spanish-speaking communities." The brief occurred via Zoom and YouTube on Wednesday, June 10.

The presentation has been covered by numerous media outlets, including CNN, WRAL, Univision, EN24 and NewsDio. Duke Today has also produced a story on the event. The other presenters were Viviana Martinez-Bianchi with Duke Family Medicine & Community Health and Gabriela M. Maradiaga Panayotti with Duke Department of Pediatrics.
