john myersI am very pleased to announce John Myers, PhD, MSPH, will join DUSON’s faculty as the new Director of the Research Design and Statistics Core in the school’s Center for Nursing Research, effective September 1, 2020. He will be a member of the Health Systems and Analytics Division.

In his career, Dr. Myers has published nearly 140 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, been a member of research teams awarded nearly $37M in funding and serves on numerous review panels for the NIH and the CDC.

Dr. Myers’ nearly 15 years of experience working with clinical researchers and leading data analytics teams and his expertise directing advanced biostatistical and econometric support for projects performed by clinical researchers make him an ideal candidate to lead our Statistical Core.
