Message From The Dean: Strategic Plan Year Two Kicks Off
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since the launch of our 2016-2020 Strategic Plan. It is rewarding to see the hard work and dedication that each of you have shown to our strategic focus areas ensuring our contribution to the transformation of the nursing profession. More than 100 of our faculty, staff, students and Duke University and Health System partners have participated in the first year’s implementation of our strategic plan. We’re starting year two and if you have not yet done so, I ask you to consider contacting an executive sponsor to lend your talents to the work of our second year of the plan’s implementation. I encourage you to look within yourself and ask why the strategic plan is important to you—recognizing that each individual contribution is important to our success.
We will be resuming our coffee and tea sessions to continue dialogue and share experiences with strategy leaders. I look forward to meeting with you and to support the ongoing fulfillment of our strategic plan.
Each of you have had a hand in making DUSON #1, thank you for all that you do. To volunteer your time, contact an Executive Sponsor today:
