Molloy and Phillips Visit Sultan Qaboos University in Oman

Molloy and Phillips in OmanMargie Molloy, assistant professor; and Beth Phillips, associate professor; recently worked at the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Muscat, Oman where they participated in their undergraduate program’s exit exam OSCEs with graduating students. They also had several key meetings with faculty on topics such as simulation, preceptorships, curriculum development and MSN programs. 

They each gave a two-hour presentation to faculty from SQU and other local schools. Molloy presented "Bringing Simulation to Life by Integrating the INACSL Standards of Best Practice" and Phillips presented "Developing A Preceptorship Experience In Undergraduate And Graduate Nursing Programs."  They visited in the middle of Ramadan and were able to learn about their traditions and cultures.
