A Children’s Guide.” The book was featured in The Wilson Times' article "Nurse writes book to help kids understand social distancing." According to the article, "'What is Social Distancing?' is a guide and activity book designed to help children understand why they are unable to go to school, why they can’t see their friends and the importance of staying safe at home. The book provides general information on germs as well as the importance of hand-washing. But it’s not just about understanding a new way of life. The book also features activity pages children can work on while maintaining a safe social distance."

“These unprecedented times can be extremely confusing for children,” Luckey said in the article. “I created this book to acknowledge those feelings and help explain why social distancing is important, even though it is hard to be apart from friends.”
