Virginia "Chris" Muckler was recently selected as the 2016 Distinguished Alumni for the School of Nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery. She will receive the award at the Pinning Ceremony for the fall 2016 graduates in December.

According to Barbara S. Witt Professor and Dean of the Auburn School of Nursing Jean D'Meza Leuner, Muckler was chosen for her professional accomplishments since graduating from the School. "You bring incredible recognition to the program and honor us all through your achievements," she said.
