New Seminars on Faculty Wellbeing and Vitality!

Announcing two new seminars on faculty wellbeing and vitality. Sessions will be led Jeffery Ring, PhD, Principal Consultant at Health Management Associates, Inc. is a health psychologist and executive leadership coach, and assists leaders and teams in productive functioning toward effectiveness and competitive advantage. Jeffrey is a champion for healthcare practitioner vitality, and is skilled in supporting teams in mindful reflection on creative approaches to self-care and wellness enhancement. He often presents at AAMC conferences around the US. Sessions will cover similar material, so you only need to register for one.

Both sessions will be held in Pearson 1014.

Join us for an interactive presentation on ways to support practitioner vitality at the Duke. Dr. Ring's discussion will focus on identifying potential threats to personal wellbeing and enhancing meaningful, mindful, collaborative and sustained practices to maintain fulfillment at work. Attendees of this hands-on discussion will leave with tools for mindful, positive, long-lasting impact on their day-to-day life and those around them.

Who should Attend? This seminar’s content will be geared toward Duke SOM Faculty who are involved in clinical care. Others are welcome as space allows.

Thursday, May 17, 3:30- 5 p.m.

Join us for an interactive presentation on ways to support practitioner vitality within Duke Health. Dr. Ring's discussion will focus on identifying potential threats to personal wellbeing and enhancing meaningful, mindful, collaborative and sustained practices to maintain fulfillment at work. Attendees of this hands-on discussion will leave with tools for mindful, positive, long-lasting impact on their day-to-day life and those around them. Leaders from all Duke Health entities will explore high functioning teams and the roles of leaders in fostering trust, managing conflict and enhancing accountability.

Who should Attend? The content of this session will be geared toward individuals with clinical leadership roles who are responsible for leading a team within a Duke Health entity.
