NIH Makes Changes to Notice of Award

NIH Makes Changes to Notice of Award

The NIH is making changes to their Notice of Award (NoA) starting October 1. As outlined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement (GPS), Section 5, the NoA is the legal document issued to notify the recipient that an award has been made and that funds may be requested from the designated HHS payment system or office. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has developed a standardized Page One of the NoA, and, effective October 1, 2020, this will serve as the first page of every HHS NoA for all discretionary awards. For more information, visit the NIH website.
