Nominate a Faculty Member for the 2019 Research Mentoring Awards!

The Office for Faculty Development is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Research Mentoring Awards!

The Research Mentoring Awards recognize faculty members in the Schools of Medicine and Nursing with excellence in research mentoring.  Excellence can be demonstrated in many ways such as by the accomplishments of individual mentees, by programs implemented by the mentor, or by exceptional creativity in mentoring. Three winners will be recognized each year, one from a basic science department, one in clinical science research, and one in translational research.  Clinical department faculty who conduct basic science research will be considered for the latter two categories.  Each winning mentor will receive a monetary prize.  All faculty and trainees are invited to nominate research mentors in the Schools of Medicine and Nursing and nominations may come from individuals or groups. To be eligible, the nominated faculty member must be at the Associate Professor level or above (regular rank). Nomination Deadline: Thursday, Feb. 7
