Nominations Open For the 2017 Susan B. Clark Administrative Leadership Award

Nominations are open for the Susan B. Clark Administrative Leadership Award. DUSON's very own Laverne Myers won the award last year. 

The Susan B. Clark Administrative Leadership Award is given annually to an administrative professional in our organization who demonstrates the qualities exemplified by Susan Clark during her remarkable career:​

• Dedication to the institution
• Service to others
• Personal strength of character
• Acts as a role model to others

Nominees should represent the diversity of our community and must meet the following requirements:

• An employee of Duke University Health System, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, Duke Global Health Institute, and Duke Margolis Center for Health Policy
• Career Path started in an entry-level position and advanced through the ranks of the institution to a position of leadership and/or significant responsibility
• 10 years or more of employment with Duke
• Demonstrated record of excellent performance
• Current role provides administrative support to executive leadership (Director level or above) in a manner which underpins the effective functioning of a large and/or complex service area within Duke Health
