Nursing Honor Society Seeks New Members for Board, Committees

Candidates are being sought for the 2020-22 board and various committees of the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, the Nursing Honor Society.

Board openings include: 

• Vice-President

• Treasurer

• Secretary

• Graduate counselor 

• Directors (2)

• Leadership succession committee member (3)

Interested applicants must be an active member and must be able to commit two years to the position (July 1, 2020-June 30, 2022). Those elected will participate in quarterly board meetings and the biannual chapter induction ceremony and dedicate project time of two-to-four hours a month depending on the position.

Voting is scheduled to occur from May 15 to May 31. Newly elected positions and committee members will be oriented at the June meeting and will receive a full six-month mentorship.

Committee members and chairs are appointed by the board.
