Nursing Students Needed for Service Learning Trip to Guatemala

Curamericas Global is currently seeking nursing students to join a volunteer service learning trip to Guatemala from March 12-21. During the trip, students work alongside community health workers in rural indigenous communities to provide basic health outreach and community building activities. Students will reside in the rural mountains of Guatemala’s northwest region, where poor socio-economic conditions, lack of education for women, and limited access to health services have contributed to infamously high rates of child and maternal mortality. This trip is great fit for medical and nursing students and provides hands on experience working in a community-based health project in a low-resource area.
