Oermann Delivers Keynote Speech at UMD Institute for Nurse Educators Conference

Marilyn Oermann recently delivered the keynote speech entitled "Evidence-based Teaching in Nursing: What's New and What's Missing" at the University of Maryland Institute for Nurse Educators Conference in Baltimore, MD. 

An official institute at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, the Institute for Educators has two primary initiatives: Preparing nurses for faculty roles in Maryland nursing schools and for educator roles in clinical settings and providing ongoing professional development for faculty and educators in clinical settings. By developing, preparing and supporting nursing faculty and educators in clinical settings, the institute offers professional development initiatives that include an annual conference, teaching grand rounds, workshops, and information found on this website. Members of the institute also work with individual faculty members and perform peer review.
