Welcome International Visiting Scholar Liyan Gu

International visiting scholar Liyan Gu, MSN, arrived to the School of Nursing on March 21 for a one-year visit. She is a PhD candidate in the Department of Nursing at Shanghai Changhai Hospital, which is affiliated with the Second Military Medical University in Shanghai, China. She will receive mentoring and professional development experience under the guidance of Eleanor McConnell.

During her time at DUSON, Gu will gain knowledge about the Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner training in the United States, examine models for translating evidence into practice with the help of the Duke Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development and more.

She will be located in the Clipp 1031.
