Wei Pan, associate professor, collaborated with other faculty statisticians in nursing schools across the country and studied statistical issues in nursing education and research. They presented one study on "Preparing Nurses for the Next Pandemic: The Role of Statistics Educators Moving Forward" at the U.S. Conference on Teaching Statistics on July 1 and will present another on "Distinctive Statistical Considerations in Nursing Education and Research" at the Joint Statistical Meetings on August 10.
