Pan Submits Subcontract Proposal for NIH R01 Project

Kudos to Wei Pan, associate professor, for the submission of his subcontract proposal to the University of Texas – Arlington for his continued participation on Elizabeth Merwin’s NIH R01 project entitled "Reducing Health Disparities in SMI, Rural and Minority Populations." This proposal requests funding for an eight-month period with a start date of April 1, 2019.  This proposal is part of the grant transfer application that UTA will be submitting for the continuation of Dr. Merwin’s currently funded project.

Pan will contribute his expertise in statistics and multi-level modeling to inform the implementation of the analysis plans, particularly focusing on the development of complex, multi-level statistical models. He will work closely with PI Elizabeth Merwin in providing oversight and guidance to data analysts writing complex statistical programs in support of the multi-level models.
