PCORI Workshop on Health in the Community

Join PCORI for a community conversation "Let's Talk About What Is Important To You: Health Outcomes that Matter" on Saturday, November 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Durham County Department of Public Health located at 414 E. Main Street, or on Friday, November 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West End Community Center located at 705 Kent Street in Durham.

Conversation focus includes:

  • Improving health of patients and our community by addressing issues meaningful to them.
  • Creating research partnerships focused on improving patient, family and community health and well-being.
  • Building equitable partnershipships among patients, physicians, and researchers.
  • Developing successful ways to communicate what is learned from research to patients, families and our communities.

The event is free, but registration is required. Registration for each date is limited to 100 participants. Register by Nov. 5 for the Nov. 12 event & register by Nov. 11 for the Nov. 18 event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
