Kathy Pereira and Brett Morgan recently co-authored a poster entitled "Implementing Nurse Anesthesia BSN to DNP Education: Challenges, Successes and Considerations for the Future" that was presented by Pereira at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Doctoral Education Conference in Naples, Florida.

The annual Doctoral Education Conference welcomes deans, associate deans, doctoral program directors, directors of research and faculty. Sessions address topics specific to doctoral education in nursing, including teaching strategies, program and student characteristics, research requirements/funding and issues concerning advanced practice nursing. Participants are encouraged to share successful approaches and respond to the unique challenges affecting doctoral programs.
