PhD Student Harris Presents at 2018 World Stroke Congress in Canada

PhD student Gabrielle Harris recently attended the 2018 World Stroke Congress in Montreal, Canada where she presented on parenting after having a stroke as well as how cognitive impairment often goes undetected for stroke patients discharged home. 

The World Stroke Organization is the world’s leading organization in the fight against stroke. It was established in October 2006 through the merger of the International Stroke Society and the World Stroke Federation with the purpose of constituting one world voice for stroke. Today, WSO has more than 2,600 individual members and over 60 society members from 85 different countries.
