PhD Students Present at IAGG World Congress in California

PhD students Jing Wang, Hanzhang Xu, Zhao Ni and former postdoc fellow Kyung Hee Lee recently presented at the 21st International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) World Congress in San Francisco, Calif.

Wang presented on the "Association Between Filial Piety and Caregiving Burden Among Chinese Adult Children Caregivers" and "Older Residents' Quality of Life in Long-Term Care Facilities in Shanghai, China." She also attended the one-day IAGG pre-conference workshop chaired by Kirsten Corazzini on "Common Data Elements for International Research in Long-Term Care Homes: Advancing Person-Centered Care." 

Xu presented on the "Association Between Migration and Cognitive Function Among Older Adults in China." Xu also chaired a symposium entitled "Health Status of Older Adults and Caregivers in Developing Countries: International Survey Results." The symposium was co-chaired by Bei Wu.

Ni presented on "Disparities in Prwvalence of Hypertension Across Different Populations in China."

Hee Lee presented on "Factors Influencing Quality of Life Among Older Adults in Low- and Middle- Income Countries."
