PhD Students Rink, Koppel Receive Scholarships from Beta Sigma Chapter

paula koppel headshotlesley rink headshotDUSON’s Sigma Beta Epsilon chapter awarded PhD students Lesley Rink and Paula Koppel Rising Stars of Research and Scholarships monetary awards to attend and present their research at Sigma’s Creating Healthy Work Environments Conference from February 18 to 20. Awardees will be disseminating their research by presenting posters virtually.

Rink’s submitted poster was “Association Between Well-Being Behaviors and Resilience in Health Care Workers” with the help of Tolu Oyesanya, co-chair and assistant professor, Susan Silva, committee member and associate professor, and other co-authors Kathryn C. Adair and Bryan Sexton with Duke Center for Healthcare Safety and Quality. 

Koppel's submitted poster was "Nurse-Patient Rapport and Videoconferencing Telenursing Visits: An Integrative Review" with the help of her mentor, Jennie De Gagne, professor.
