PhD Students Wainwright and Ge Appointed to Graduate Council

PhD student Kristin Wainwright was appointed to serve as the executive secretary and PhD student Shaoqing Ge was appointed to serve as the PhD representative for the Duke Graduate and Profession Student Council.

The council is Duke University's student government organization for its nine graduate and professional schools. The purpose of the council is to represent and advocate for Duke's graduate and professional students, serve as a liaison between students and administration, nominate representatives to university committees, organize events, and financially support various programs or events for graduate and professional student groups.
