Randolph Presents at 15th HBCU and HSI Health Services Research Conference
Schenita Randolph was recently invited to speak on sexual health disparities among black youth and young adults at the 15th Annual Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) Health Services Research Conference held at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. The theme of this year's conference was "Translational Research for Reducing Health Disparities."
Randolph's presentation specifically focused on previous research findings on the "Perspectives of Black College Women about their Current and Past HIV Testing Behaviors." This research was in collaboration with Dr. Tanya Coakley from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Dr. Jeffrey Shears from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
