Duke University School of Nursing’s Institute for Educational Excellence invites you to register for the virtual 2020 Clinical Instructor Intensive “Rising to the Occasion: Lasting Lessons from Teaching During Change," which will be held online Tuesday, August 11, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Participants will learn about optimizing the student clinical experience during change, implementing best practices for direct and indirect clinical teaching (Pre-licensure/ APRN), utilizing concrete strategies for teaching student skill acquisition in a virtual platform, transitioning from the role of clinical instructor to faculty member, and maintaining life balance in the midst of chaos and change.
