- Good News! Lipkus Submits Application
- Kudos to Isaac Lipkus and his entire team for the submission of their subcontract proposal on a University of Georgia R01 application entitled: "Leveraging Innovations in Dyadic Science to Understand Smoking Cessation in Dual-smoker Couples". This proposal requests funding for a four-year period with a start date of July 1, 2017.

Congratulations to Jennie De Gagne who has received an AWARD for her Duke AHEAD proposal entitled: "Needs Assessment of Cybercivility Learning in an Interprofessional Education". This award is for a one-year period awarded November 1, 2016 to November 1, 2017. This project was awarded at $5,000 for the one-year project period.

Congratulations to Cheryl Rodgers and Marilyn Hockenberry who have received an AWARD for their American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) proposal entitled: “A Nurse-Led Educational Intervention to Improve Symptom Management in Newly Diagnosed Children with Cancer”. This award is for a three-year period with a project start date of 4/1/2017. This project amount will range from $600k - $800k based on the amount of sites involved.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: 2016 Nursing Research Conference - November 3
- The Center for Nursing Research will host the 2016 Nursing Research Conference on Thursday, November 3, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This year's theme is "Leading and Accelerating Nursing Science and its Translation." Individuals interested in participating should submit poster abstracts by email to Libby Ladd at libby.ladd@duke.edu. Deadline is Monday, October 3.
