Karin Reuter-Rice, associate professor, has been selected to chair the Children and Youth Committee of the North Carolina Brain Injury Advisory Council. This multidisciplinary committee of government, policy, advocacy, and health agencies members focuses on the welfare of brain injured North Carolinian children and youth, develops initiatives to reduce brain injury risks and educates stakeholders in policies and legislation. This committee was responsible for the development and dissemination of Return-to-Learn Policy Information and Resources [SHLT-001] to all NC public schools.
