Reuter-Rice, Dungan and Granger Attend CANS 2018 State of the Science Congress on Nursing Research
Karin Reuter-Rice, Jennifer Dungan and Bradi Granger recently attended the Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science (CANS) 2018 State of the Science Congress on Nursing Research: Precision Health in Washington, D.C.
Reuter-Rice presented "Endothelin-1 SNP and Cerebral Vasospasm in Pediatric TBI" at the Neuroscience Symposium. This work by Reuter-Rice and her colleagues was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and DUSON NIH-NINR P30.
Dungan presented "Behavioral Phenotypes of Hypertension in Black Females" on behalf of PhD student Jewel Scott's accepted podium presentation. Unfortunately, Scott and her mentors were unable to attend. Dungan also moderated two sessions: Symposium: Using Genetics / Symptom Science and Symposium: Neuroscience 2.
Granger and her colleague Mary Fran Tracy hosted their first Clinical Nurse Scientist Special Interest Group Meeting. The meeting was an introduction and gathering to discuss the role of clinical nurse researchers that share a health system and university faculty role.
