Richard-Eaglin Speaks On Cancer Prevention

Angela Richard-EaglinAngela Richard-Eaglin, assistant professor, was the invited speaker for the MD Anderson Cancer Center "Perspectives in Cancer Prevention" quarterly lecture series, which took place on November 13. Her lecture was entitled "Cancer Prevention and Care Beyond the Evidence: Educational Priorities for Health Professionals." The lecture focused on the importance of interprofessional collaboration in meeting the needs of cancer patients, including survivorship planning and care, the role of cultural intelligence in interprofessional relationship development and in influencing positive patient outcomes, and balancing evidence with individualizing patient care.
