Seeking Applications: Duke REACH Equity
The Duke Center for REsearch to AdvanCe Healthcare Equity (REACH Equity) is seeking applications for a mentored research career development award for junior faculty. REACH Equity will address racial and ethnic disparities in health by developing and testing interventions that improve the quality of patient-centered care in the clinical encounter – a setting in which racial and ethnic disparities are well-documented. Applicants for the REACH Equity CDA must propose research related to this theme.
Up to six scholars will be awarded up to $75,000 for two years. Awardees are expected to use the award to protect at least 50 percent of TPE. Applications are due Feb. 1, 2018 and funding will start July, 2018.
