Benjamin Smallheer, Brett Morgan, Margie Molloy and Helen Gordon were recently awarded a Faculty Advancement Seed Grant from the Office for Faculty Advancement at Duke University.

Their project, “A Faculty Development Workshop on Gender Associated Incivility and Nursing Education” was one of five grants awarded for Spring 2018.

The purpose of these grants are to provide a financial head start for new faculty development ideas or expand on current ones to include a focus on diversity and inclusion. The ultimate goal is the help establish and strengthen faculty development resources and programs that are evidence-based impactful, and sustainable.
