Staff Development Funds Approval Process Now Electronic

Obtaining Staff Development Funds approval is now an all-electronic process!

In an effort to make the process for obtaining Staff Development Funds approval more efficient and ecologically friendly, we have switched to an all-electronic process! Where the Staff Development Funds Request Form was located on the website will now be instructions on how to initiate the process to request funds.

Within those instructions are links to each of the three Staff Development Fund request and approval paths (Finance & Administration, Academic Affairs and Research). After selecting the link that applies to you, a quick Qualtrics form will appear, allowing you to submit your name and the name of your supervisor. The completed form will automatically route to the applicable vice dean’s Administrative Assistant, who will initiate an Adobe Sign document.

You will receive an email with a link to go in and fill out all of the typical information needed for funds approval. Your completed request will automatically generate an email to your supervisor for their approval. When your supervisor approves your request it will finally go automatically to the appropriate vice dean for their approval. Once everyone has signed and the form has been approved, you will receive an email with a link to the completed form. You can download and save it for yourself and then register for the training, conference, etc. A copy will also be kept on file for each area.
