Staff Member Bolar Successfully Defends DNP Project

Erica Bolar, clinical nurse educator; recently successfully defended her DNP project "Use of the Nursing Decision Support Toolkit in the Reduction of Unplanned Acute Care Transfers and Live Discharges of Homebound Hospice Patients: A Quality Improvement Project" at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. 

While completing her DNP project, Bolar also earned a graduate certificate in Nursing Education. 

Prior to joining DUSON, Bolar was a family nurse practitioner in the Atlanta area focusing her practice on hospice and palliative care.
