Health Systems Strengthening: What is It? How are we involved?

The Global Alliance on Disability and Healthcare Innovation (GANDHI), together with the Duke University School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, is excited to announce a Duke showcase on strategies employed to strengthen health systems around the world. The showcase includes research from 10 teams spanning 5 continents on work related to emergency medicine, neurosurgery, care coordination from hospital-to-home, and community care. Our program features keynote speaker Andrea Thoumi from the Margolis Center for Health Policy, a panel of leaders in global surgery, student presentations, and networking opportunities with heavy hors d’oeuvres.
