The Duke American Association for Men in Nursing (DAAMN) sponsored a College Basketball Bracket Challenge during March Madness. Deirdre Thornlow was one of two winners of the challenge. Thornlow was the winner of a sign photo from Coach Mike Krzyzewski. DAAMN President Joshua Tai presented the award to Thornlow.
