Training Opportunity for Clinicians, Students Caring for Patients with Opioid Use Disorder

The Duke Physician Assistant Program is offering opportunities for students and clinicians to expand their knowledge and skills related to caring for patients with an opioid use disorder. Using federal grant funds, and content expertise, the PA Program will offer the Duke Physician Assistant Program MAT Waiver Training, an eight-hour face-to-face training session, on Saturday, June 15, from 8 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. sponsored by the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. The training session will take place in the executive classroom at the JB Duke Hotel.
