Uhl Part of DIHI-Funded Project Team

The Duke Institute for Health Innovation (DIHI) will support high-potential innovation projects in the areas of novel strategies to improve value of care delivery, advance health equity, amplify digital solutions for care and monitoring, strengthen provider and staff experience and well-being and enhance patient engagement and experience.

Tammy Uhl, consulting associate, is part of a 2021 DIHI Innovation Project team for the "Machine Learning Approach to Pediatric Sepsis Recognition" project.

This is the eighth year that DIHI has funded projects through a call for innovation applications (RFA) across Duke Health. From the 65 high-quality applications submitted this year, Duke Health leaders selected ten projects to advance to the implementation phase. In addition to providing funding for these projects, DIHI will work with various Duke Health and Duke University partners to provide access to data, analytics, statistical analysis, machine learning and AI resources, while driving project and implementation management.
