Queen Utley-Smith was recently notified that Online Duke accepted her proposal to redesign the School of Nursing Health Promotion and Disease Prevention course. Redesigning the course would make the course more cross-cultural, interprofessional and provide technological updatses. The award will also support course pedagogical redesign, incorporation of new approaches to discussion, collaboration and media production.

Online Duke is a university-wide initiative to advance educational excellence through online teaching and learning, provide leadership and support to faculty and programs across the university to promote teaching innovation, strengthen Duke's global partnerships, and expand access to Duke's knowledge in service to society.
