Volunteer for 2018 Thank-A-Thon!

Duke Health will be hosting our 2018 Thank-A-Thon: Because of you! On Wednesday, Oct. 10 in the Great Hall at Trent Semans Center. We will be making phone calls to School of Nursing donors to extend our thanks for their generous support. We are looking for DUSON faculty and staff to help staff the phone bank as we try to complete as many “thank you” calls as possible in one day. We’ll also be inviting alumni and students to join you in making calls throughout the day. A single call goes a long way toward making our generous donors feel appreciated.

Two-hour shifts are available beginning at 10 a.m. and will run until 6 p.m. A script, training and small thank you gift will be provided for each volunteer. Volunteers are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes prior to their shift to allow for parking and a brief training. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Shift Times:

Please plan arrive 20 minutes prior to the selected time.

• 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
• 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
• 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
• 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
